Sour. Wild. Oloroso Barrel Aged.
Sour, sour, and then there's The Sour Conspiracy of Evil, definitely not a Gose for beginners. Born from an extraordinary collaboration between La Calavera, BierBoutique Konstanz, AleHub, and Cheers Ragazzi, it combines intense tartness with the complex aromas of an Oloroso sherry cask.
The sherry cask aging gives the beer significantly more depth than a classic Gose: wood, sherry, and dark dried fruits meet an intense yet balanced acidity. In the background, the salty note typical of the beer style is retained.
Despite its aromatic complexity, the beer has a surprisingly light body and remains pleasantly refreshing. A sour for those for whom “a little sour” is definitely not sour enough.
