Black Secret - Imperial Stout from Augsburg
Noctus 100 bears the nickname "Schwarzes Geheimnis" (Black Secret) and is the Imperial Stout interpretation from Brauhaus Riegele in Augsburg. Historically, the style dates back to a beer once created as a gift for Catherine the Great and later became the court beer of the Russian Tsars.
Brewed using a triple decoction mash and refined with roasted barley and several chocolate malts, the result is a deep black, powerful beer with intense roasted aromas and a subtle coffee note.
