Belgian Dubbel Classic with Great Depth
The St.Bernardus Prior 8 is a traditional Belgian abbey beer in the classic Dubbel style. Its original recipe dates back to the time when St.Bernardus still brewed under license – and to this day, Prior 8 stands for the typical Belgian combination of strong malt, dark fruit, and fine spice.
The aroma reveals red apples, figs, and dates, accompanied by caramel and roasted malt. On the palate, the fruitiness combines with a full malt body and a balanced interplay of sweetness and bitterness.
With its 8% ABV, Prior 8 is potent and warming, yet wonderfully balanced. A characterful Belgian Dubbel for all who enjoy dark, malt-forward, and fruity beers.
